Greetings all!

I'm currently looking to upgrade my press and have decided I'm going to go the Dillon route. One of the things I'm trying to do is make sure everything will fit my current setup (bench and Inline mounts) or have purchased the things in advance to make the setup right for me. That's what lead me here to ask for information.

What is the length of the standard Dillon XL750 and 550C handles including the ball?
What is the handle height from the floor to the bottom of the ball for both?
What is the lengths of the Dillon roller handles for both presses?
What is the height from the floor to the bottom of the roller handle for both?

I did search the forum, but couldn't find the information.I know it seems like I should just be able to go and measure this myself, but the nearest place that has presses setup is 1.5 hours away. Plus I think this will help other members going forward.

with the 550 handle with ball 16.5", with roller bar 15.5" roughly. i bought and used the roller bar from the get go as i thought it looked cool and likely had an advantage. i used it like this for a few years. i often found myself holding it not at the roller ( which i find causes it to twist so periodically i have to retighten) but in the junction of the roller and and black bar. i switched back to the original handle which places the pressure over a bigger area of my palm.

length of blue roller handle 4 1/8" , from the bend of the black bar 5 3/8" roughly

i can't answer your distance to the floor question, obviously depends on the height of your bench and if you use a strong mount.

I not going to be much help either because the 750 I was loading on already had the Inline Fabrication Ergo Handle attached.

However I can highly recommend the Inline Fabrication Ergo handle over the Dillon Roller handle...I've used one mounted on another friend's 650.

As you likely already know, the Inline Ultra Mount is a much nicer piece of kit than the Dillon Strong Mount

Thank you for all that info.
You can always add in the bench height and I can do the math ;).

Oh yes! The Inline Fabrication mounts are all I use. They are built like a tank.

My 550B handle is roughly 16.25 inches from the bottom of the Dillon strong mount to the top of the ball. My bench height is 37 inches tall. This is a great height for me at 6'0 feet tall. I do my reloading standing up. This allows me to see the powder in station 3 with ease.

As someone else mentioned, the Inline Fabrication mounts are better than the Dillon branded ones. I have 2 Dillon mounts and 1 Inline Fabrication Quick change mount. The Inline is just plain solid. No flex at all.
