I managed to knock a bottle of this stuff off of the shelf above the reloading bench and the lid flew off.
It got on a lot of the bench including my powder scale. Brake parts cleaner nor mineral spirits seems to do a good job of cleaning it off. Any suggestions?

I’m surprised brake cleaner didn’t do it. That’s generally a good oil/grease remover

Describe what the surface of you bench is made of?

Wood bench has soaked it in somewhat. The scales is the first thing that bugged me and I'll get some alcohol this next week.
If it weren't for screwing things up I'd live a fairly dull life!

If the wood has soaked it up I’d try some kitty litter or saw dust and maybe you can pull some of it back out.

Unsealed wood can be like a sponge

Once the lanolin dries, it is a bear to remove. I never found any solvent that would remove it easily. I tumbled mine in hot water and detergent and it worked pretty well.
