Will the Dillon Square Deal .45 Auto Rim?

I was curious about this, too, and I found an answer on another forum which indicated that Dillon tried to make a shellplate for the Square Deal for .45 AR and there just wasn't enough material left to hold the case, because of the extremely thick rim on the .45 AR.

However, the 550 or 650 are supposed to handle it OK.

Or, just use moon clips...

For the RL 550B, you will need:

Shellplate "H", P/N 13010
Buttons "4", P/N 14047 (3 ea)

Dies are the same as .45 ACP, as is the powder funnel.

Powder Funnel "E", P/N 13782.

YES IT WILL !!! DILLON made me two 45AR shellholders way back when [ from 45ACP shellholders..] and they ALL work perfectly.

I've tried to get a 45AR SDB shell plate awhile back and was unsuccessful. Can you tell me who you contacted at Dillon, sure would like to get one myself. Tired of using 45ACP and moon clips. Thanks

If you don't like using the tools to moon/demoon get some 45 gap brass and load it. It's just enough smaller you can snap them in and out by hand, real easy.
