Greetings,
Recently picked up a couple beaters for $35 each: a Marlin 100 bolt-action tube-fed rifle, and a Stevens 87H semi-auto tube-fed .22 rifle. Pretty beat up cosmetically, but both can load and fire.
The Stevens 87H is unlike the Marlin 60, apparently related to the Savage Model 6 instead. Rather unusual design.
The Marlin 100 seems a pretty standard bolt-action .22, but kind of odd internal mag.
Does anyone have any disassembly info for these, or any advice on fatal flaws in either model? Are they decent for $35, or are they ten shots away from broken firing pins and exploding extractors?
