The only reason people watched it was to see what kind of bs the owner would pull next.
It's a service to not show gun owners as stupid, ignorant hicks. Top Shot is a good show for gun owners.

well im going to miss the show. i enjoyed seeing all the work and new guns that come in and out

We need to bombard Every network EVERY single time they show a violent / graphic show or movie on TV.

See if they can walk the walk or just cowtow to the left wing.

I think Top Shot, even with some of the personalities on it, is one of the best gun shows out there. Portrays guns in a constructive and responsible way.

I think most Americans don't pay attention to why a network dropped a show. Gilligan's Island and Firefly were both cancelled early, after all.

I agree the show sucked but I also agree that it isn't a good sign for us that it is being cancelled explicitly for it conection to guns.

So... uhh..

Let me get this right.

TV networks like Discovery and NBC are dropping firearms shows.

But continue to show who-dun-it's and blood-in-the-street murder fantasy shows where people are killed every 30 seconds in every violent way imaginable.

CLEARLY one of those is vile, disguisting, and evil.

I guess I over reacted but I have always been a very vocal advocate for all of these TV shows that I do not even watch because a lot (millions?) of people were exposed to guns in a positive light. That's all. And to have it pulled publicly as a reaction to a shooting will send the wrong message to those people who watched it.

But I do not want to be an alarmist. I shoot a 1911 and get a chubby near bolt action rifles :) so other that general concern for my rights I'm not that alarmed.
