discrepancy of axes

Hi.
If after reloading an eye see the discrepancy of axes for a lead bullet and brass(sits crookedly)__this is dangerous?(talk not about accuracy, about danger only

If a lead bullet sits crookedly in the case, it likely/may not completely chamber.
In an auto-loading rifle/pistol, this can:
- Jam the weapon where you have to take a rod to unjam the cartridge/open the action (inconvenient at the very least)
- Keep the weapon from firing/hammer/striker will not function ( ditto above )
- Fire out of battery ( very bad )

If your bullets off axis enough that it's visible id be mildly concerned with reliability (chambering) and possibly neck tension (setback or pull).

A picture would help. How crooked/off its axis?

If it chambers, it's probably fine, but we want to figure out why it ended up crooked and change that.

He means that if the bullet is made of mostly lead and not jacketed, it is soft and thus it can catch on things, like sharp edges, as it moves into the chamber and deform; become not properly shaped.
This may or would create mechanical problems inside the gun, especially in self-loading types of guns.
I would also hazard a guess that a misshaped bullet can create pressure spikes quite different to the normal bullet shape.

If you see it now, now's the time to fix it. Re-seat the bullet.

Almost seems like bullet would have to be wrong diameter for caliber for it to tilt that much like a .355projectile in a.38 special brass

I can't even imagine a situation where those two statements could both be correct.

We're definitely going to need pictures to get a better idea of how to address your issue.

It would also be helpful if you let us know which cartridge you're reloading and which bullet you're using
