"Disguising" guns during transport

armored man is absolutely right!!!! You DON'T want to disguise your firearms as something ELSE stealable/pawnable (guitar, golf clubs) - big long cardboard boxes, preferable with factory labels that say "Decorative cutain rods, brass finish, 30 ea." (Or "Wooden Dowels" or 'Retail shelving", or "gift wrapping" - be creative - (and pick something you never see in a pawn shop).

Besides, if "curtain rods" was good enough for Lee Harvey Oswald, (at work, in a government building, on the day the prez was to drive by, no less), it will work for you. Besides, if you have to open and use them, you can snarl in your best Edward G. Robbinson voice - "It's curtains for you!"

I can fit a sks, a MAK 90, and a 870 in my bass gig bag. Mine isn't a soft nylon deal like in the picture, it is padded and pretty rigid. With thoses three long guns and an old towel for more protection it looks like a guitar. My hard case looks very similar to a rifle case or a compound bow case.
