Do any gun companies fund charitable foundations?

This past weekend our SAFR Jackson County group put on a 4 hour hadn gun class and raised $500.00 that we will be donating to a charity that supports recently deployed National Guard troops. Someone at the meeting last night suggested maybe we could find a company to match our funds. Anyone know of any firearm or related company that funds a charity or might consider doing this?

The charities aren't quite set in stone. At least $100.00 will be going to a group that provides phone cards but we're working with some people at the Family Readiness Group to make sure we put it where it will do the most good. It's not a huge sum of money, but the chapter is dedicated to doing a couple fund raisers a year for that cause.

I would suggest contacting Smith, Ruger and Kel-tec PR departments to see if they have some program. Also, contact local large gun shops and distributors to help out also. :)
