Do I Buy This AK Now?

I've been watching some youtube videos about selecting an AK. Most of them have nothing but good things to say about the Zastava N-PAP and even better things to say about the Zastava O-PAP.

I haven't seen anyone say much good about the Romanian WASR-10 though.

Unless the Obama import ban is repealed though, I guess the Bulgarian milled receivers will probably be the best option for a new AK for a while.

I would not rush out and buy one, just because "it's available now." There are other AK series rifles that can still be imported. Given enough demand, a U.S. manufacturer will build an AK from a U.S. receiver and 100% U.S. components. My advice...wait it out.
