I just don't get it. People who disobey the no guns signs whether backed by law or constitutional rights do nothing but hurt our cause.
What cause? Gun owners can't agree on anything (hence the previous thread with 250+ posts), what makes you think they can agree upon a cause?
My belief is "Leave me in peace, give me the same right to protect my family as police and politicians have, give me the right to enjoy a hobby in which I hurt no one, and judge me based upon what I've done and not what you might think I'll do."
Yet... there are many in our "community" that will disagree with the above statement.
Some cops believe that they are of a different class and should be able to always carry while me, a mere civilian, should not enjoy that right. Most politicians too.
Some "gun people" will disagree with my selection of firearms. I happen to like evil black rifles that fire 800 rounds a minute. There are plenty in the gun community that think machineguns are bad. Shame on those people.
There are even some gun folks that think black semi auto rifles are bad. As long as "they" don't go after "shotguns" (insert whatever flavor of the month that you care for here), it's just fine if everybody else loses out.
Gun cause? Hardly. I think "we" are just a bunch of folks that happen to like something to do with guns. Some more than others. Some with more passionate beliefs than others. Just like the rest of society, we're all different.
The last thing I'm thinking about is "the cause" when I'm lawfully enjoying my life.
