Do You Also Carry A Flashlight With Your CCW ???

Been carrying a SF 6P since just before Christmas. It's come in handy dozens of times, and it slips well into a winter coat. Not sure what I'll do in the summer, tho...

I always have:

- Surefire Z3, jacket pocket (1 hr battery life)
- 2-AA Maglite, jacket pocket but should prolly move to pants pocket (for less lighting needs than the Z3)
- 1-AA maglite, jacket pocket in mini emergency kit
- Photon microlite (I think it's a photon2, but I'm not sure), keychain

And as long as we're discussing light producing objects, I also have:

- Zippo Lighter, pants pocket
- strike anywhere matches, jacket pocket

I'm usually not far from my jacket :)

I always carry a Surefire E2e in either my pants pocket (while at work) or in my jacket pocket (when out at night).

It has come in very handy on several occasions.

Yes ... SureFire light, in my left pants pocket with my reading glasses. Also carry a flashlight in my vehicle, and have one next to the bed. Also a SureFire on the main HD firearm, a Remington 870.

This is another area where paying attention to the professionals is helpful ... LEO's carry light.

Yes."If you carry a gun carry a flashlight. If you don't carry a gun carry a flashkight"-I think it was Jim Lovette said that in 'Combat Handguns'(Shoulda looked it up but I'm @ work & the article's not & hand).
A 3-4 cell Maglight in the car or the hand is mighty comforting. I find the C-cell size a better fit to my hand than the D-cell models.A Surefire rides on my EDC rig & a Microlite on my keyring.

If I have my clothes on I have a Surefire, a Gerber EZ open pocket knife, and a Kubaton on my key chain and I conceal carry about 90% of the time.

I'm now carrying a Pelican M6 LED on a belt holster, and an Arc AAA-P clipped to a pocket (I like using the pocket clip).

I carry a SureFire E2E daily all the time (even daylight). I keep a 4D Maglite in the truck with an Army L-light for general purpose use (comes in handy during storms, power outages, etc). I've always kept the SureFire on me since I once had to clear a house with nothing but a S&W Bodyguard and no light in the middle of the night (was likely to be nothing but the heating system kicking on, but had to check, and the young lady and I were about 30 miles from anywhere). Having sweated off about 10 lbs doing that, I swore never again to be lightless (mine had been in my truck). I shouldn't have had to clear the house by myself, but.......that's life.

I carry a Surefire E2e in a Brommeland mag/flash pouch everyday, along with a Wilson mag. I carry it for power outages as much as identifying/blinding targets, ever since the big power outage back east. I've also been in a casino when the lights went out, so it's handy to have. :)

Update:

I'm now carrying:

Pelican M6 LED (main light)
Arc LSH-S (backup)
Arc AAA (backup to the backup/keychain light).

All three fit on me well, and all three are very good lights.
