I do. Sometimes, when I feel down, I think about the guns that are in my possession, and it brightens me up. Sometimes, I'd take one to the range.

I don't feel blessed for owning the ones I do particularly, I feel sorry for those that don't own any and don't understand why others do.

I feel blessed for being born in a prosperous democracy. But yeah, I like my collection.

all of the above plus:

i feel blessed to live in a country that actually allows us to own weapons and use them, when necessary, to defend my home and family.

God Bless America

Nope but I felt cursed in the past when I pawned a broomhandle Mauser and Taurus PT-99 to pay rent......for 1 more month and then got booted the next month anyway, doh!

No, I feel blessed when my feet hit the ground in the morning, so I can shoot the guns that I have!...Think about it!...;)

I feel blessed for knowing that I can own guns and knowing that other people like me own guns. I love this country.

But, yes, I feel blessed for owning my guns. All of them.

many of my guns were gifts or heirlooms. I look at my deceased grandfathers .22 squirrel rifle and it gives me a warm feeling to think I'll be able to hand it down to my son someday.

Bingo to TPaw!

He hit the nail on the head, errr, feet on the ground. :)

Thank you.

I feel blessed in many ways, in good and sad times, it does not only include living in a place where I can own/shoot my firearms. The glass is half full not half empty.

Of course. I am standing on the shoulders of Giants who could not imagine the relative success of their posterity.

My blessings are the direct result of an Irish, railroad-building grandfather who had to sell his hunting rifle every year to pay for dresses for his 7 daughters and a "Greatest Generation" father who vowed he would work hard enough to never have to sell a gun.

Both Giants. Both heroes to me.

It's not about the "guns" per se. It's about the fact that the USA is a place where anyone who works smart and hard can achieve what every one of our ancestors only dreamed of.

Human life used to be extremely hard. Now it's not. At least not in the USA.

The RKBA is a HUGE part of that equation. Guns protect a free person's life and success in a way nothing else can. But this blessed life is also available for people who couldn't care less about guns. They are also blessed by the equation.

We are blessed to have been born into this very easy period in history. May it continue forever and flow to our oppressed brothers and sisters around the world.

I would only feel more "blessed" if I could store the gun I need down at my local hardware store and go buy it when needed. Like a hammer.

To me...that is TRUE freedom.

Yes.

But then I remember that the old lady says "Wait!" everytime I want to buy more! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

They ain't no justice in this world!:scrutiny::scrutiny::scrutiny:

Yes I do. My guns arent the nicest, but I enjoy them and I have the freedom to own them. Thats all that matters to me.

Not one person in my entire (close) extended family owns a gun except me and now my brother as well. My grandfather had a very nice collection of rifles and shotguns, but who knows what happened to them, since my mom is pretty anti-gun, not for any particular reason other than warm fuzzies at not having them around.

Come to think of it, my aunt and uncle actually might have some, who knows, but at any rate there is no gifting of firearms or to my knowledge handing down going on in my family, my brother was gifted his first gun by me but otherwise it's no joy.

I am going to make up for it by having plenty to pass on to my children when I see fit or when it's out of my hands anyway.

I feel blessed to have only 1 gun, its a original full auto WW11 1919 made by SAGINAW STEERING GEAR DIV, GENERAL MOTORS, to think that this gun was used in war to protect lives of our soldiers and someone took the time to steal it, hide it then register it when a amnesty came up and then i got my hands on it, yes i feel blessed. The rest im just lucky to have.

I feel blessed for being born in a prosperous democracy.

Here, let me fix it for you.

I feel blessed for being born in a prosperous republic.

If you don't know the difference, please do your homework.

I feel blessed that my right to own the guns that I do has not been totally infringed. I hope this continues in the future.

Yes, but then i realize there are guns, and potential guns missing due to stupid BS laws that violate the 2A and that M4orgery could be an M4

Yeah you should all feel blessed to have the RKBA in U.S.
Here with the coming october 14th vote, we can see our little rights falling in no time.
Even if your coming elections includes the possibility that Obama is elected, it will be worse here if Harper is not reelected.
I will tell you... I really consider moving to United States for a lot of reasons, I like Vermont, it's close to where I am at this time (so my family) and gun laws are really nice (is there any gun law in Vermont? LOL, just kidding).
But, I don'y know if I CAN move to U.S., I don't have any contacts.
We are a good population of gun owners wo really consider moving to U.S.

Blessed yes, I could have been born in Birmingham England and watch my great grandfathers 12 gauge and 30-30 get hacksawed. Not wanting to see that I never miss an election and never stop campaigning for 2nd amendment candidates between campaigns hoping that something I said has influenced a vote.

Yes. Freedom is grand.

Whenever I pull the AK out of the safe, it reminds me what a great and egalitarian nation this is.

And I also enjoy the historical old milsurps. I own an M39 built on a 1905 czar's-crest hex receiver that undoubtedly saw much action in Finland (and possibly earlier WWI as an M1891), and I feel like a museum curator must feel sometimes when in the presence of historical artifacts---great privilege and great responsibility entwined. I take good care of it, and I think the men who carried it in combat long before I was born would be pleased to see it valued and taken care of.

I'm thankful that someone had the foresight to enumerate my right to own them on paper.

I don't feel blessed per se, but I really do appreciate the fact that it's my right to own a firearm without having to ask Big Brother if I may. I've lived mostly overseas and it's a much different story over there - look to Britain, Australia, South Africa, to name but a few - and never relax the fight to Keep and Bear Arms.

Do I feel "Blessed"?

I'm not religious and don't believe in a "god", per se, so I guess I'll say, "No." to your question.

Do I feel "Lucky" to own guns? No. Our ancestors fought long and hard for our RIGHT to own guns and for many other freedoms.

Do I feel grateful to those who fought for our rights/freedoms and to those with the wisdom to write the words that many of us would die to defend? You're damned right I'm grateful!
