I have a bunch but my faves are

for showing off, a Wilson belt slide ostrich for my Wilson Super Grade...bling bling!

But for real world carry either te Blackhawk, or Bladetech both for 1911...

or beleive it or not, a nice Galco leather FBI cant unit.

I have formed nylon or Fobus for the revolvers and the cheaper autos.

I should get a super nice leather lined one for the Python.....now that I HAVE a Python!

Everyone must like keeping the big ol box o' holsters full, then. I have a few left over from my Witness, including the last Galco Hi-Jak made for a CZ-75.

Nope

...

For as long as this thread has been running, I have only bought 2 new guns, and 2 new holsters, that work from the get go, no break-in, no gun-holster marks, no sweating, and no discomfort.

But, a good idea for you with a lot of those Holsters laying in your boxes. They would make great gifts, be it Birthdays, Christmas, The_Holidays, etc., to others with less.

I have a crap load of those nasty looking nylon holsters. (I hate those things) To think my first year carrying I bought I don't know how many holsters trying to find one I liked. Finally gave up and decided to try some leather, finally decided on Bianchi "carry lock". Love it, have 5 of them I think, 1 for each of my "carry" firearms.

I did finally find a use for 2 of those nasty nylon holsters, bought 2 S&W sigma 40's for our BOB's and since they are not for comfort or concealment they will work fine there.

I don't have just a box-full of holsters... I make them so yes I have a couple. ;)

See below for my site.

EBAY is your friend!!!

I don't have any holsters on hand that I don't use for one or more of my handguns. Anything I have no use for or is replaced by something new gets sold on Ebay.

No. I have 2 tote-boxes full of them. A third shoebox sized one contains holsters I'm going to get rid of.

Never ever buy cheap equipment. For me, Uncle Mikes kydex, Fobus, all that stuff was totally unsatisfactory. Bianchi, Galco, and Hume are threshold of tolerable for leather. There's a local holster guy that makes really nice leather as well. Kydex is either Blade-tech or Comp-tac. Sidearmor is also well represented.

When I first got into concealed carry, I purchased ONE gun, a Glock 26. And ONE holster, a Blade-Tech UCH (kydex IWB tuckable).

That was 7 years ago, and I am still using both.

You may hate me now.

There's just something unnatural about that. :D
