Do you have a gun room / man cave?

Mine is a 12' x 14' finished room downstairs. Knotty pine real-wood paneling and ceramic tile floor. The PO had the room set up as a mini-recording studio for his guitar playing. My safe, sans handles, cleared the door frame with 1/8" to spare. I do'smithing on the side and I have my drill press, mini-mill, grinder/buffer, and vise in there with me along with all of my reloading stuff. One very nice feature of my cave is I can open the window and shoot from the comfort of my gun room since I can see my range from it.

Yes, but I don't want the high-tech frustration of learning how to post photos. No phone apps either.

Selecting a lateral revision waypoint 'at work' for an arrival route change is enough high tech.

Some time ago...in another life...I had some room. It was O.K. All was well.

Now, my wife has claimed about 90% of the area. I may as well be living in the dog house. I would... if it had a basement!

It is workable but I need a bit more room. We have about 1900 sq. ft. and I can claim about 110 of it! :D

Fella's;

I'm with Ignition Override, when posting images gets easy enough to do, I'll probably be dead. I've tried it a couple of times & the doc then screams at me about my blood pressure. Hurts my ears too.

Therefore, it isn't finished yet, but it's coming along. It's 12 foot 4 inches by 23 feet, has a Graffunder C7248 safe in it, and the rest isn't finished. I was able to score a 12'6" section of hard maple bowling alley approach which isn't in yet, but that will be the primary bench.

I have a "man room" upstairs with stuff to work on guns and to other tinkering
I have the upstairs hallway full of boom closets, too
I also have a reload station in the basement that I'm just starting out on, brass reclamation is knocked down and will need a new home when I fire that back up

Everyone with pictures has nicer rooms than I do, but at least I have my spaces set out - it was a major factor in choosing my current house

I see some people shop for their utility furniture at Sam's, same as me
And I'm digging the Saturn rug, kimberkid - did you snag that as a trophy as GM killed their good brand?

When we moved into our current home, my wife, awesome lady by the way, was adamant that I build the man cave that I have always wanted. It has taken about 6 years and several phases to afford but it has been well worth it.

Totally dig the pro1000!

Yes, I'm lucky, my cave and then my reloading area in part of the garage. I have to have a place for three safes. ;)

One side of the I Love me room.

the other side of the room.

I've got an attached 16'x20' portable behind my bedroom for all of the things that I din't want in the main house. It's insulated, air conditioned, and fully finished. If it's too messy to do in there then I step outside to the shop area in the carport.

If I just want peace and quiet then I go across to my ancient motor home.

Thus, a series of man-caves.
