Hi all,
I was hoping for some insight on shooting solid copper bullets from your ruger lcp. I own a lcp and was considering getting some corbon 80gr DPX or buffalo bore 80gr TAC-XP ammo to try. I've read that the solid copper gives the " best" of both worlds because it will offer both penetration and expansion. I've also read some reviews where the DPX will not feed from the magazine for the ruger LCP's, I'm not sure if these are older reviews & the feeding issues have been fixed or not. It almost seemed that the people we're stating the OAL was too long & the rounds were hanging up in the magazines on the lcp's and not letting them feed (like the nose of the bullet would drop nose down and jam against the front of the magazine) reliably. Has anyone out there shot any of this ammo through their lcp? if so has it given you any problems, or has the problem (if there was one) been corrected? Any insight would be great I would hate to spend the coin for this ammo to find out it will not run through my gun.
Thanks
J

I have tcp and got to run a mag full of corbon's barnes x bullets and they ran fine. Not sure about the hotrod BB loads. I will buy more to see if any feeding issues come up but this model seems to not care what it shoots.
