Does 300 WSM have role Beside 300 Win Mag?

One needs a couple of each, just to keep the racks straight. One of the 300 WSM Custom MRC action guns I built with a Lothar Walther barrel went with me to RSA, Africa, the two WM guns stayed home. If you use VN 560 the 180 in the WSM will duplicate the WM in velocity, top end to top end.. The trip went well except for the French idiots throwing our gun cases out of the cargo hold onto the tarmac, then running over them with trucks.. Being in international business, I came to dislike doing business with the French in general, the Legion is OK, but they are not French by and large.

Oh, reminds me Jamison lost his job after fighting with Win. Not that the advertisers have anything to say about jobs and gun writers ya know... ;-)

So in the end I was actually able to get a 300 win mag Browning BAR Safari 2 from the same guy for the Dan Wesson
I also ended up getting the stainless steel A bolt WSM and a like new Leopold vari x 3 3 to 10 mounted scope on the Browning BAR and I threw in a new in box Ruger ar-556.
Both rifles are beautiful and the a bolt looks practically unfired and may actually be the stainless stalker which I had before in 300 Win Mag and there's very little difference between those old a bolts and the x bolts.

A Browning BAR 300 Win Mag has been on my want list for a little while.
