Does an excellent firearms-related live chat room exist?

Possibly something that would be accessed with a client like mIRC? Thanks much...

Most of the rooms I've found are dead, or filled with trolls. Due to the live nature of it, it's harder moderate it there. Most chat rooms that aren't specifically firearm related will chew your cud and then some if you mention a firearm too it seems.

"chat room", wow, there's a blast from the past... I didn't know there still was such a thing. The only way I think it would work would be if it were members only and people have to be recommended by other members.

there's usually 3-10 people in there at any time

i don't frequent it because, frankly, there's not much discussion on casting, reloading, etc

Seriously though, as much as I'm not a fan of spending a lot of time on social media, Facebook has some pretty active gun groups, not exactly a chat room, but pretty much instant and lots of fun/information.

That's been my experience as well. There are several IRC channels ("chat rooms") on several different server networks covering many different topics that remain excellent but I have yet to see any for firearms related discussion.
