I can not find any ballistics gelatin tests out of a 2.75 inch (ruger lcp) barrel showing a 380 round that will penetrate at least 12 inches in ballistics gelatin and expand.

Obviosly FMJ will penetrate but not expand and all JHP I have seen will expand but not penetrate 12 inches.

    Any suggestions?

Although interesting most of these tests are wet pack test which don't really relate to bullet performance in humans.

Hey, Just One Shot. Thanks for the link and tip on the Hornady Critical Defense ammunition. I have been wanting the best for my wife's P380 and my PM9. The name Hornady sells itself so I'm in the market for it now!

    or Cabelas:

if you can't find it locally.
