I used to own a Sig 225.
Gotta love German made guns.

I do! I'm not sure where my 228 was made. I have a 9mm 220 that was imported by Browning; I think that it's German. My P7M8 is German.

I think everybody has hit the nail on why I like them: top of the line engineering, craftsmanship, and accuracy.

I always get a good laugh outta the "West Germany" thing...that was back when there existed a West Germany. ---Still have the same impeccable quality as their most recent stuff.

It's a Manurhin gun. After the war Germany could not legally build arms so they pretty much packed up the plant and moved to Manurhin, France. These are great C&R pistols.
