Does anyone have a $1/4 million to spend?

Personally, for the money, I would opt for a David MacKay Brown Scottish Round Action - cheap at 65,000 each or a lovely Fabbri titanium with engraving by Fracassi or equal for $225,000

That was beautiful, thank you for sharing.

And no, I can't afford it. That rifle is worth more than my house.

When shooting a gun this nice, eye and ear protection are not required (picture from their homepage):

Can you imagine if the <removed> here in the US do to us what they did to England, and our kids didn't know what Remington, Winchester, Colt, Browning meant to our history?
Give Bloomberg and Feinstein half a chance and we won't have to imagine.

Best left to people who appreciate them.

I hate the portrait on it. Love the entire gun, almost. The portrait is a deal killer. I don't care if it's a famous hunter on a best gun or Mr. Sam on a Wal-Mart special Remington.

I wonder, could I buy a best gun as an investment in my mother's name? She's in a nursing home and I have complete control of her money, etc. Hmmm.

I'd spend my own, but I'm way too cheap.

Too bad they don't have a matching one with pink inlay.
I would buy it today, but the wife would be jealous, so I better wait until I can get his and hers.

I do not believe this is a 1/4 million, but I could wrong:

It IS the smallest double rifle in the world - weighs 1 kilogram (2.2#), and can be ordered in 17HMR or 22 hornet.........

Five or ten years ago I checked on the price of the Hofer 2.2-pound Hummingbird SxS in .17 HMR. It was around $60k or so.

Good to know, I know he has made some guns that were north of $600,000, and this engraving is done by a noted engraver, sometimes that can cost as much as the gun depending on who it is....
He does make some cool stuff, as does Ollendorf

That has to be a miss print, a 220 thousand buy now price & No Reserve !.............RIGHT.

I am surprised the us govt has not put in an order for 200,000 of them so the govt can fight overseas to "protect" our freedom

I would have figured that someone with that budget would just go to H&H and have one custom fitted to them instead.
Yes there would be a wait time associated with having one made on order but if you're in that income bracket I'm sure something would be available to shoot while your custom gun was built.

I prefer bolt guns. I was going to buy a VO Falcon, but they sold them out at $825,000.00 a pop before I could get on the list.
