How are they?
Do you like the 15 round capacity
I have a CZ83 in .32acp. It is a very easy shooting pistol, as you can imagine, because it is fairly large and heavy. I've put about 2,000 rounds through it. Because the magazine is large and allows a bit of fore and aft movement, I have experienced
rim-lock, especially with hollowpoint ammo. I stick to European ball ammo, (Fiocchi, S&B), and the problem goes away.
The 15 round mag is great for the range, it goes on forever it seems. I have four mags, so I can load up 60 rounds at a time. The last few rounds are a thumb killer...have some sort of loader.
The pistol is quite accurate, and has a pretty good trigger. I have several other .32acp pistols and I'd say the CZ is my second most favorite. I has regular 3-dot sights and NS are available.
I rank the pistol as one of the most fun that I have. I do get some hammer bite now and again, but no big deal. The original grips are very ergonomic, but slick. Because it's a one screw grip, wood grips have been known to crack, mine did.
The commercial blue finish is much nicer than the Krylon paint-til-it-drips finish the old CZ82 has. It is an attractive pistol IMO. I've seen reports of the nickle finish peeling, but I don't know whether the .32 even came in nickle. I've only ever seen the blued model.
This is an ambidexterous pistol. I have a lefty son, and this is one of the guns he likes because of that, although he said he likes my Beretta 84 more, but that's a .380. I've allowed several young ladies to shoot the CZ and they
all prefered it over my other pistols (> .22lr), due to it's lack of bothersome recoil.
Here's a pic, with a Beretta 85 to show the similar size. The dimensions are almost identical.
