Does anyone know anything about Florida SB448?

Regretably Florida Carry is invoking Marissa Alexander to promote the bill. My understanding of that case is that the facts are not good and the "warning shot" claim was just a miss.

That aside, is the bill any good?

It is a shame the NRA is invoking Alexander as well. My understanding is that after an argument with her husband she went to her car to get her gun, came back in the house and fired a shot at him in the kitchen while he was standing next to his two sons. The shot missed and hit the wall behind him and she claimed it was a "warning shot" after the fact.

I sounds like a good bill but such sloppy advocacy does not give me confidence.
