Does anyone make a rear peephole sight for a Ruger Model 77 that clamps into the rear scope cut in the receiver?

My first thought was to look for a Ruger Hawkeye GS scout rifle peep sight but upon a bit of research, I see they are actually screwed into a tapped hole unique to the GS Scout rifle.

get a ruger ring and drill a hole in it?
Get a 1903A3 or late M-1 carbine rear sight, cut the top off a ring, and the lower part of the USGI sight then weld them together for a windage and elevation adjustable rear 77/22 sight
