Does anyone own or have any experience with an FN FNC?

I've been toying around with the thought of selling off a few guns (Colt 6920, SBR'd HK USC/UMP conversion, and my FN SLP) to finance most of a select fire FN FNC. There is one on gunbroker now for just north of 7k. I love my Colt AR and the SBR'd HK, but there is something about full auto that is just :D

Am I crazy for thinking about getting rid of 3 guns for 1 (even though it's full auto)? I don't know what's going on, but lately I've had sort of an ADD thing going on with my gun collection. I sold an AK (Interarms built Polish Tantal) that I bought after I shot it once and decided that it just didn't fit me. I sold my SIG X-5 because I never shot it. I sold my 870 for the same reason. I bought the FN SLP and I like it, but I wouldn't really have an issue letting it go. I'm considering selling my HK USP .40 now because I have an HK 45C on the way.

Get it. The FNC is very tough and well made. Just make sure you get a spare firing pin and extractor.

FA weapons hardly ever loose money and I doubt anyone is going to find a warehouse full of FNCs anytime soon.

I had one and like an idiot sold it. That one I kick myself over whenevr I think about it. BSW

From what I understand, FNCS are so expensive because they are relatively rare, plus they are pretty affordable machine guns as well.

Al Pacino used one in "Heat," it was badass. It's a really unique rifle and it will get a lot of attention wherever you go.

If you can get a select-fire FNC for under 10k, I say go for it!

Oh, and I would be more than willing to pay for the ammo to put a mag through it at the range! :D

If I get one I'll let you know. It might be awhile if I decide to do it with all of the paperwork involved in buying the FNC and selling the SBR UMP.
