I am just wondering how many of you guys really have bodyarmor or for that matter a tactical vest already set up for training or SHTF. I am a Marine and im about to buy my PERSONAL bodyarmor and vest. Also how many of yall train with that vest if you have it? Thanks, G

i have a HSGI woosatch plate carrier with hard plates in the front and back. i use it for training courses that are realative to my work ie carbine courses etc.

I have a Paraclete RAV that I used as a member of the PD tactical Unit. I kept it after I retired (I bought it) and still use it for carbine training.

Purchased soft body armor for a security job I once held. It now sits in the closet except during cooler months when I wear it to the range for an extra layer of warmth and protection from any idiots that might be afoot.

For the military, it's standard Interceptor/MOLLE gear.

I've got IIIA concealable armor from work. The city never recovered it because they don't feel they can reissue it. If it wasn't for teaching and taking classes with shoot houses I'd sell it all.

I was given a concealable soft armor vest by a friend in the industry.

I wore it to a class that we took together (in the desert...) because it seemed like the polite thing to do. I've not had occassion to wear it since ;)

Had a Tactical vest, sold it. Have a chest pouch of VZ-58 mags for the unthinkable, but I just keep it dusted off for now.
I have body armor at work if I need it.

I have one of the Blackhawk vests that I bought a while back. Haven't used it yet. Planning to though once I can get some time to take the Practical Rifle course that I want to get to.
