Any help would be appreciated! The thought of having the ability to make a 43x or 48 short grip is intriguing. Thanks.

Are you asking about a 48 slide on a 43 frame? This will make a short grip with a longer sight radius.

A 43 slide on a 48 frame is the 43X.

I will go see if they will fit.

Stay safe.

Wellll, yes as @Captains1911 posted above. Yes the 48 slide-barrel-recoil spring does fit an 43 frame. It hand-cycled and locked back with a 43 magazine in place. I have not fired it, so I do not know if it is Glock-reliable or not. (No reason to expect it not to work.)

All three: 43, 43X and 48.

Not 48X, it’s the “43L”.

Riomouse911,

what are the triggers? They look oem, but like they have been trimmed up.
I really like flat triggers on my Glocks. It started with the poorly shaped, grooved trigger on my 17L. For whatever reason, it let the safety blade stick out too far and really irritated my finger. I had a lousy performance in a charity shooting competition with it, and afterwards I just seemed to focus on the trigger blade on all my Glocks until it drove me nuts.

So, I swap all of my Gen 3/4 Glock triggers out with Vickers Tactical flat triggers. The blades all depress flush and the wider trigger face is an improvement over the OEM ones.

It only takes a few minutes to do and it makes the trigger feel so much more comfortable to me. :)

Now the two Gen 5’s I have (45 and 19X) both have a newly designed trigger shape that does not bug me, so those triggers I have left alone.
