I am new to revolvers and have a 627 performance center and just today I picked up a brand new 686 half lug 5" barrel "stocking dealer special" - this model has the adjustable V notch rear sight with the high vis front.
I noticed after I got it home the rear sight insert was cranked as far right as it could possibly go.
Does this mean anything? Do they sight them in perfectly from a rest at the factory? My 627 is slightly right, but not all the way over like this. Help I feel like Monk from the TV show because my sight isn't perfectly centered in the middle!
