So I'm sure most of you that have bought this ammo know you can get Speer Gold Dots in 50 round boxes for about the same as the 20 round boxes. Anyway, I keep seeing 50 round boxes of 9mm in both 124 grain and 147 grain however neither are ever +P ammo. The only 124 grain +P ammo from them I see is always in 20 round boxes. Is the regular non +P ammo just as good? Or is it better to pay the extra for the 20 round boxes? Or if they make it in 50 round boxes I'd just wait for that.

Streichers used to carry it packaged that way, but they dont seem to carry Speer anymore. To bad, they were reasonable too. They do have Federal HST though.

Have you tried a search for it that way. I came up with a few, but all I saw were "on order".

There are also some listed on Gunbroker

Didn't check gunbroker but had been watching AmmunitionToGo.com and they only have the non +P in the 50 round boxes but they seem to only list what the have instock. That's why I didn't know if they made it or not.

I'd never heard of Streichers but I just checked it out and they have some decent prices on stuff. I see some Gold Dot ammo their too. Do you have to be a LEO to order from there or can anyone order from them?

They come in the 50 round boxes, you just have to find them. I got tired of looking and just bought some 124 non +p

They will sell to you, unless its something that the manufacturer restricts, like the Winchester Ranger ammo.

+P does come in 50rd boxes (in the box marked with the LE text); I bought my stash from Ammunitiontogo. I guess you just have to wait for them to get some more.

I'll buy the +P if it is available and competetively priced, but wouldn't go to great lengths to get it over the non +P load.
