I noticed this photo of the new Canadian Prime Minister, at the US / Mexico / Canada summit taking place right now in Cancun, wearing what appears to be a CONCEALED CARRY type vest -- see photo attached below!

Maybe he's own security detail.

I'm not sure, but being in that type of position is one of the few way to be able to pack heat up there...

I believe he is trying to look casual. I don't think any heads of state would be armed but their security details surely would be , no matter which country they were in. How could a protection detail whisk the head of state away to safety if he is engaged in a firefight. Also he probably has had very little or no weapons training.

Nope. Our Stevie is trying to look sporty. Don't think he's a shooter. He and GW should get along well though. Our Stephen is an oil man too. Has an MA in Economics and used to be a right wing lobbyist.
One of his Party's election promises was to dump our stupid gun registry. Doesn't mean we'll be back to owning whatever we want though. They've already said that anything currently considered evil will stay that way.

Despite signing in CCW in Texas when he was Governor, Bush is probably too insulated to know this….

However, If I were the POTUS, I'd just tell the Canuk PM conversationaly…

"Hey, nice vest! Those are real popular in the U.S. for people with concealed handgun permits!"

Then place a side bet with my Secret Service protection detail how quickly he took it off.
