Hi,

Does the steel baby eagle have a passive firing pin block?

This image at gunblast shows the underside of the slide:

On the bottom of the slide I see a larger cylinder and then a smaller pin behind it that is about 1/6" the diameter of the larger cylinder.

Could it be that the larger cylinder is a passive firing pin block similar to how a Glock's passive safety works?

And the smaller pin is for the decocker and pushes down to decock the hammer?

I am thinking about buying one of these and I want to understand the mechanism as best I can before deciding for sure...

I do not know as I am not familiar with the inner workings, but that sure looks like one. Is there something on the frame which pushes it up when the trigger is pulled or the grip frame squeezed?
