I don't know if any data exist on this issue, but if the US has a higher percentage of psychopaths than other countries, then it stands to reason that we would have a higher murder rate, including a higher rate of mass killing, regardless of whether guns are available or not.

If we do have a higher percentage of psychopaths, then one would wonder why that is true, but let's not get into why at this point.

This topic might seem only indirectly gun related, but if we do have a higher rate of such people, then that ties to the murder rate, which fuels the gun control discussion.

I think we most certainly have more people with mental issues then other countries. Not sure what causes that problem or how to cure it. One thing I've said all along is when these people are caught after these shootings they need to face the death sentence. In my opinion that would hinder the copycats.

Having lived in FL one of the things I liked is they are no nonsense when it comes to crime. More then anything I want Cruz to get the death penalty.

Sociopaths and psychopaths are different. One understands consequences. The other does not.

It is said that most CEOs of major corporations are sociopaths to some degree.
