When you order ammo online will FED EX or UPS leave the ammo or does someone have to sign for it?
I have never ordered ammo online

I have never bought ammo online before

It depends on the shipper for me. Stuff I get from ammoman gets left at the door. Stuff from Outdoor Marksman is adult signature required, which means I have to drive to the UPS place to pick it up since I'm never home when they deliver.

On the one hand, signature required is more secure, but on the other hand, I don't worry about someone in my neighborhood absconding with a nondescript 60lb box in the few hours it's unguarded on my doorstep.

Fedex and UPS always leave everything at your door unless the seller specifies signature required.

"Doe's"???

Sorry, I've tried to stop being an apostrophe Nazi, but this is just too much!

I just bought some AK tracer and got it 20 min ago. They would have left it on my door but I was home to receive it!

bought it from northwestshootersupply.com no sig

Yeah they leave it unless the shipper specifies adult signature. Then its a pain to get it.

yep, it really depends upon the shipper. I have purchased from sportsmansguide and they just leave it in my porch. mastercast wants a signature.

UPS guy always leaves it at the front door. He puts the mat on top of it to attempt to hide it, but it looks like a hat instead.

UPS always leaves it for me. Have purchased from Natchez, Wideners and several others, never had adult signature required.

I have received more than 5,000 rounds from Mastercast over the last several years, and FedEx always left it on my front porch, no signature required.

Fed Ex usually will leave it on my porch. UPS I usually have to leave a note to "leave on porch" otherwise I wait another day :(

Had to love my 1st shipment of .50BMG from Midway. A little backtracking: When I order directly from Barrett, they usually send it double boxed.

Midway sent the case itself labeled BARRETT .50 BMG ... I'm sure the UPS driver LOVED bouncing around with that box in the Big Brown Box!

I order my ammo from Midway...IIRC, it was UPS Ground and I didn't sign for it. It was left on my bench-front door....

I always ask for an adult sig req'd tag, usually the upcharge is about $2.50. If I really can't be there I'll leave a note for the driver to try next door.

I'm a block from an elementary & middle school ... not too happy the first time I came home and found 8 pounds of powder on the front step in a box clearly marked Gunpowder. That was after I was promised it would be double-boxed and they would e-mail me the UPS tracking number so I would know when it would arrive and arrange to have someone there ... I think that SNAFU was Graf's.

I have had all three do it!

Spee Dee left 5400rds of 223 on the steps in the rain! Freaking wet stuff! Lucky was in sealed battle packs!

Never had to sign for ammo yet. I normally buy from Natchez. But have bought from many other places who never required a signature.
I love Natchez! I place an order online and it's on my porch 2 days later.
