My local GS does the cost +10% as well, and $20 transfers.

Is their "cost" the same as everyone else's "cost"? How do I know? All I know is that (for just one example) they got me an LCP about two years ago (when they were impossible to find) for $256.

Could I beat that if I tried hard enough? Maybe.

Do I choose to support the mom-n-pop that is less than a block from my front door, has been there for me for the last six years, provides truly outstanding personal customer service and always honors any reasonable request?

Why, oh why, can't a place like this open up on the east side of Harris County? This place is still an hour's drive each way for me.

I don't know if you are east side north or east side south, but there is a new gun shop/indoor range up on the north side I visited this past weekend. It's only been open for about two months. The gun prices were not out of line, and the indoor range is nice and brand new. They even allow rifle fire of .223 or 7.62x39. It's a tad far from me, but it was worth the trip.
