I am in the market for a .45ACP. The 45's I have owned in the past have been the CZ 97B, Glock 36, Springfield Armory Ultra Compact (loaded). I am one of those habitual traders and have literally owned about 18 different handguns in the past two years! So now I am wanting a new .45.
Here are the models that I have considered:
Glock 21 (although a bit big for carrying, I did find the 97B comfortable so I dont thing the 21 would feel too bulky.)
Another 97B? (My first one was a great one, though it was heavy)
Ruger 345 (Never had a Ruger Auto but I was impressed with my dads 9mm when I field stripped it....and I don't mind the mag disconnect) And it could actually be carried and concealed!
H&K!! (Lot's of money for that one...not sure I can hold out long enough to save up for it.)
Bear in mind, I DO know how to search and research the forums and have done so. All of these models mentioned have mixed reviews so I am not worried about functionality. I believe they would all serve a shooter well. I am looking for other view points that I may not have thought of.
