Saw one in stock at a gun store and there are a ton of them on Gunbroker. This is an old model. I like that it's huge and all metal. Fun range gun it would seem? I have medium sized hands but long fingers. It has been officially discontinued too so maybe I should grab one while we still can?
I was thinking about buying another 1911 as I don't have one right now but 10 rounds versus seven or eight? I had a nice Springfield Loaded in Stainless that I sold, don't like Stainless pistols, I would get a Parkerized Mil Spec or the Loaded Parkerized but I'm think the 97B might just be a bit more fun to shoot? I know the 1911 trigger will likely be a bit better but I'm not that hot of a pistol shot and I've owned 1911s, I like them a lot but I am not a total 1911 fanatic.
Was thinking of a 75 SP-01 but the 97B has caught my eye. My only other F/S 9mm is a G17 and then I have a lot of C&R and subcompact 9mm. But I also have the S&W 625-8 and I always liked shooting the 625 and the 1911 together, an alternating between the revolver and the semi auto shooting the same round, it was amazing how different two .45 ACP pistols could feel in comparison. I have a feeling I will also get a 75 SP-01 when finances permit too so not sure if I should get the 97B or the 75 SP-01 first?
Opinions?
