So this was just a test load to see if putting two balls or projectiles into a single chamber would work out in my ROA.The Chambers were deepened by Clements.

The ultimate plan is to use my custom made cast BigLube HP of either 145 gr or 200 gr. Seat it on top of a swaged full wadcutter of whatever weight I like...since you can squeeze them to any weight.

I would use T7 and RWS 1075 caps.

So I tried a crude test. I used a 150 gr BigLube (no HP) over a swaged 150 RB.
I used 25 gr of T7, Plenty of room for more and an RWS 1075.

The recoil was more than I expected and the accuracy? Well, let us hope I find a better recipe. They went no where that I could call usefully accuracy.

Does that 150gr BigLube take up less depth in the cylinder than a round ball?

How are you making the wadcutters? I'm not familiar with how that works. Thanks.

The 150 takes about the same, maybe a bit longer but you don't need a wad or lube over the top. You run it through a lubrisizer like any other bullet. I'm hoping BT will make me a swage die to make the wadcutters. If you swage it, you can make it any size you want. Just for screwing around I used a RB. The swaged WC will be very short having no grease groove.

I've tried every other goofy thing with this gun...this is just one more thing.

I will order this: http://www.hornady.com/store/45-Cal/
(40 cal 200gr in a 45 sabot... for my walker)

As I have just tried 2 .457 per chamber in my walker (I shot in bottles that were filled with ice... to try to grab the bullets to check them afterwards... but they went through... ). It's a nice 286gr of lead anyway... hum... should be used for short range self-defense (anticipate a hard time explaining how you shot 12 times with a six shooter... :D )

I'd be interested in how the sabot handles the cylinder gap. Seems like it'd probably be ok.

By accident I loaded two in my '58 Remmie and had to trim a little off the second ball to allow the cylinder to rotate into battery.
Recoil was much higher and both balls hit the paper close together but I was shooting close-up.
I have herd of multi-Ball loads and dont trust the pressures generated for safety. I know the guns will stand a mistake but wouldn't recommend it as a pratice.

Well... I did it with as much swiss1 I could in the walker... I paid attention to Undersize the bullets to . 451, and to have a lot of grease ... And to have touching bullets.

A mistake with this kind of. Load would be bad.
BTW, the recoil was a lot lighter than with one ungreased .457 RB

I pretty much agree with what everyone is saying. The only difference that I'm throwing in is that the bottom of the top bullet, will be absolutely flat and the top of the bottom WC, will also be absolutely flat. So the mating surfaces between the two projectiles will fit together with no gaps whatever. Just like taking a single bullet and slicing it with a knife.

No idea if this should make a difference but I suspect it will. The bottom WC being swaged will allow me to make it any size/weight I like.

I'll have a choice of 4 top bullets. A BigLube 210gr or 150gr flat point. Or Hollow Pointed versions of either.

I'm pretty sure what will come out of all of this is "hmm, that was interesting. Wonder if I shoot an arrow out of this?!
