Double Gulp Drill - Help keeping hands steady?

I knew a Texas Ranger who taught me what he called the "tick-tock" method (he freely admitted to making up the name himself). Basically rather than fight the shakes he'd turn it into a regular, predictable, motion like a clock pendulum. Tick-Tock basically became Tick-BANG, tick-BANG. :D

I second the pushups and running to the 100 yard targets and back (to set up for rifle, for pistol you might have to run back and forth a while!) but I'll also shoot in the cold with no coat. That'll get you shaking.

Try spinning yourself around in circles and then shooting. Disorienting to say the least.

I start my day with a gallon of coffee and it aint decaff. I have always found the meathod my father taugt me was a good one. It started with three guns(two of which I didnt know about) line up on target, he unloads 25 auto downrange, line up again, he unloads 45 auto down range, line up again nervous cuz he goes back to the car and I wonder what next.
