Have run out of 9mm 115's and HP-38 but have 100gr 380 round nose plated, and Clays powder.
Would like to load for 9mm but do not have any reliable data. Suggestions please for plinker loads.

Lyman shows 9mm , 90gr JHP
Clays start 3.0 982 fps, MAX 3.7 1213 FPS (one would think a 100gr would be a little less but....)
Hodgdon shows a 115 JHP Clays Start 3.7 1066 fps, MAX 3.9 1095 FPS

Funny Hodgdons #s for a 115 are Higher than Lymans with a 90
Lyman shows a 124gr JHP with Clays as start 3.1 914fps MAX 3.7 1048 FPS. (also funny same MAX with a 124 as with a 90?)

Wow, looking that up leaves me scratching my head.....

For my 9mms with 100gr bullet I need about 1050 FPS to get 100% function.

Thanks Dudedog for the info. I'll start with 3.0 and work up from there for function. I'm thinking 3.5 might do but will start low.

I just recently got a Sccy Cpx to play with and being very light, I can shoot lighter loads without it stinging so much. Since the 380 bullets are all I have, figured I might as well use them. They were working well with 4.0 gr of HP-38 until I ran out.

I have 2 lb of Clays that I used to use for 45acp until I got off on 231/hp38 so I thought it might be fun giving it a try.

Tested some loads this morn and found that 3.5 gr Clay worked well in the Sccy, but not in Bersa BP9 which took 4.1gr to function well.
Only shot 6 rounds thru the Bersa. A buddy has several diff 9mm; will have to have him bring them down one day and see if that load works.
I must admit, I like the light loads/less kick for the Sccy so might work up a box or so just for that gun.

Your welcome!

100s can be fun for light loads.
As you found you just have to play with it until you get function, and since you are light what works in one gun may not work in another.
