Bought this used DPMS Panther Arms .223-5.56. Looking at DPMS web site I see under the FAQ that if the serial number has a K at the end of it, it was built by someone other than DPMS.
Watching video's on u-tube I see some that are called DPMS Oracle which looks like the one I have but not sure. So what exactly is the DPMS Oracle?? and who built it??
The scope is a 4-16 Center Point which I think is a little much so will be looking to change it out along with the bi-pod for something different.
Put 40 rounds thru it yesterday and seems to be a great little shooter.
thanks in advance for any info provided

The K means it was a stripped lower and not a part of a factory built gun. Depending on the parts used and the skill of the assembler, it has the potential to be better or worse than a factory built oracle. It was built by an individual, not another factory or DPMS location separate from the main DPMS facility.
