DPMS .308 free float rail system

I am in the market for a DPMS .308 free float rail system for my AP4 and have a few question.

Can I only use the carbine length rail system?

Which system works the best for a LR sniper setup (scoped) if price is "NO" issue?

should I replace the front sights with a gas block?

You can use a mid length or rifle length system if you use a low profile gas block which mounts under the rail I did this on my Rock River 308 by using a rifle length on a mid length system. I would suggest you look at JP enterprises, Daniel Defense, and Troy (the heaviest) I used a Troy on mine due to it be only option at the time.
