I am looking into a DPMS Oracle, any pros or cons about this rifle?

I have one, it is good. Cons, obvious... no sights or optics... And, the gas block is the lower type so make sure you get a "Gas Block Height" front site...

The PRO's... great price, good material, forward assist and dust cover.

I put a flip up front sight on mine with a carry handle. I have a Sporticle too and like them both.

If you are just a hunter/plinker like myself you will have fun.

I'll agree with mcdonl. I have one on a home build lower that is my plinker or loaner.

I put a co-witnessed holo sight on it and store it as my back up house rifle. It has never had a FTF/FTE. Even with steel and my handloads.

My BIL just ordered this from Midway this weekend. He's pretty excited, as this will be his first one. They are already out of stock I guess....

I have one with a 2x7x32 Nikon on it. It has at least 2K rounds through it. Not one malfunction ever.

I have one with a EOTech 512 on it and it is accurate enough to be my coyote rifle at the present time.
