drop in trigger for G35?? IPSC limited.

I have been shooting a Glock 35 in IPSC Limited for a while now and I am thinking about upgrading to a better trigger. My current set up is pretty stock. Tungsten guide rod with 24# spring, some grip tape, stock sights, 3.5# connector and thats about it. The glock is a comp only gun that I don't carry or use for HD. I don't re load so I shoot factory 180 grain rounds for compitition thats the reason for the 24# spring, so far I like it more than the stock spring.

I like my glock but every time I shoot my springfield 1911 I wish the trigger on the glock was less creepy. I have been looking at drop in triggers but not sure which one to spend money on. I have shot a couple glocks with "25 cent trigger jobs" and I am looking for more than that.

Also thinking about going to a mag well and extended mags so any one who has a suggestion about mag wells and base plates fire away.

The factory sights need some help to. As of now I just sight black them befor a match but I am open to suggestions on sights. Is there a reason for fiber optic sights?

I don't know if a new barrel is much of a priority for me since I shoot factory loads and don't reload. Are they really that much more accureate?

I am open to any suggestions you all have as to making my G35 more competitive in the IPSC limited class. I have been shooting the same 35 since 2005 so I feel like at this point I am doing as good as I can with a very stock gun.

If you're shooting limited a magwell would help a bit. The Dawson ice is nice, and it will work with the stock base plates which is a bonus.

Fiber optic or not is a personal preference. I like a Dawson fiber front sight with their black adjustable rear. Whichever you choose will be a huge upgrade from the stock Glock sights

Go to Lone Wolf Distibutors online, check out the trigger selection they have. They have a Ghost connector at 3.5 which has little to no slop and then the Ghost Rocket which does require some smithing but is the very best in crispness.

I like the Dawson Ice magwell a lot. You *need* extended magazines to have any chance of being competitive in USPSA Limited. You're giving up what, 4-5 rounds per magazine to your competition? Not good. The Dawson and Arredondo magazine extensions are inexpensive and work well.

Glockworx makes some nice drop-in trigger kits. So does Vanek Custom.

The best adjustable rear sight available for the Glock is the Kensight 860-817 You'll need a taller front sight to match it.

The fiber optic insert in the front sight just makes it more visible and faster to pick up. Some say it makes the gun harder to shoot accurately. I go back and forth on them.

Lone Wolf also has a nice selection of barrels which are more accurate then stock. I don't know what the requirements are for shooting limited but a threaded barrel may be in order and a screw on compensator could be added for shooting in another class. T.H.E. makes some nice wieghted mag wells, those can be found there as well.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will be adding the mag well and picking up some extended base plates. Yes, it does suck having to make one or some times two more reloads than the guys shooting against me. Befor I drop money on a trigger I think I will see how many glocks I can get my hands on at the next match to see what others have and what it feels like.
If I go with a fiber front sight and don't really like it I can always sight black it right?

It's probably worth noting that Dave Sevigny and Robert Vogel both run their Glock triggers more or less stock. Just sayin'.

The Ghost Rocket kit 3.5 with some polishing will get you a little over two pounds, DYI overtravel stop (easy), but you will still have the pretravel. Learn to shoot the reset.
