If cases are cleaned with an Ultrasonic Cleaner, Is it recommended to toss the cases with a little dry lube before loading?
If so - what kind of dry lube is best? Hornady One Shot or Silicone spray?
Thx,

You mean before resizing?

If so... YES ...you need lube unless you are using straight-walled pistol case w/ a carbide die.

If non-carbide dies or bottleneck rifle cases, use Imperial Sizing Wax or RCBS case lube

Do not use anything you otherwise might find around the house.

Sorry - should have been more clear.
Straight wall 40S&W cases. Was thinking as more of a replacement for the lube that is added to the tumbler. This helps when sizing?
If using an Ultrasonic cleaner. A little dry lube after drying might help with size and smooth press operation?

With carbide dies you do not need to add any lube. No one puts lube in tumblers either. We do use a polish that can leave waxy residue on the cases, making them slightly easier to size.

If you do lube the cases using carbide dies, you can throw your arm out of socket sizing them, as it will size so easily.

Got it. Must have misunderstood what I read about lube in tumblers.
I have been using an ultrasonic cleaner since I started reloading shortly ago.
Thanks for clearing up.
