I took my new (new to me) Mosin 91/30 out to the range today. It fired great . I had to use a little Kentucky Windage, it shoots a wee bit right. Once I got that down pat, I nailed the 200 yard target. Then I moved up to the 400 yard target and nailed it 3 times in a row before it broke/fell down.
Here is the cool part. My thirteen year old hit the 200 yard target with her Marlin 885 SS .22 Magnum . I'm a proud daddy .
I was very impressed with everything with my new Mosin. Wife was happy it worked well. It is a kicker though, but my all steel shoulder handled it well. I may get a pad for it though. Any thoughts on that. Have any of you tried a pad????
