Looks like my 1006 but could also be the 4506 mentioned above.

Someone posted in another thread they had seen an episode where Macky was loading 10mm cartridges into his pistol magazine. Missed that one myself.

All the fan sites say 4506. I havent gotten a good enough look plus I cant really tell the difference to say whether or not its the 1006 though.

Do a search on "The Shield". I posted a few pics of Vic with his gun.

Whenever I see a pic of Chiklis I can't help thinking of his first series...

    Nah ...

    ... I'm pretty sure it's a 1006. :scrutiny:

It's just more politically correct to say it's a .45 - can't have ol' Vic carrying something radically different from the rest of the troops, now can we? :D

Didn't one episode even show Vic loading 9-rounds into a mag with a white follower? :what:

And here some thought the 10mm was only briefly popular with cops in south Florida.

    :neener:

As much as I`d like to think it`s a 1006 I`ll bet it really is a 4506. It`s got the black MIM hammer and trigger used on late model 3rd gen Smiths. Every 10mm Smith I`ve seen has the earlier style stainless or satin hard chromed hammer and trigger. Oh well, his loss. ;) Marcus
