Duracoat durability

I am looking at having my Kimber Pro Carry Duracoated. The factory finish has not held up well at all.

What I would really like to know is how well Duracoat holds up to Holster wear. Is it as durable as a Glocks Finish? XD?

No, nowhere near as durable as the tenifer on the Glock and XD but much tougher than the factory black oxide. There are a few companies out there specializing in applying tenifer treatment to weapons.

Roguard from Robarguns is a great finish if you want black. Their NP3 is probably the best finish on the market in matte mettalic grey. They guarantee both finish for life.
