Anyone apply DuraCoat for a fee?

I want to put Gun Blue color Lauer DuraCoat on the bead-blasted brass backstrap and trigger guard from a Uberti Millenium Cattleman (SAA clone) revolver.

Looking at the prices of supplies and equipment, I think I would rather have it done by someone who is already competent with the stuff, and it might even cost less I'd pay to get the everything I need to do it myself. I don't have immediate plans to DuraCoat anything else, and my garage is full of enough stuff! :)

Anyone know where I could get this done? I'm in San Diego, but I don't mind shipping these things since they're not too big and not legally a firearm.

Thanks!
Barry

Have you ever thought of KG Gunkote? I stripped down my new 870 HD, degreased it & sprayed it with the Gunkote. Put in the oven for an hour, & it came out better than I thought I could do...... Pretty durable as well...:)

GunDoc at http://greatwestgunsmithing.com has an excellent reputation and prices. Fast communication too. He does DuraCoat, CeraKote, GunKote, and DuraHeat. He can consult with you by email to determine which finish would best suit your need. Prices are listed on his site.
