I was looking at their lifetime belt for CCW. Anyone use this belt and also any Duluth Trading gear?
 
I've heard rave reviews from many that own packs and bedrolls from them. This is the first i've heard of their leather work. I've never done business with them but from what i've heard of them I wouldn't hesitate to do so.
 
Their stuff is first rate. I have had some of their shirts, and a presentation jacket. It is good cc jacket....lots of hidden pockets.

....sorry no belt experience though.
 
I was looking at their belts the other day for carry as well. They are a fantastic company. I have some of the Firehose pants. Their customer service is out of this world! Give them a call and see if their belts are made of two layers of leather. That is, what I've found, to be the main difference between a Gun belt and a reg belt.

I have some of their fire hose pocket jeans...only jean pockets Ive ever had that can fit a Ruger LCR comfortably

I have the work firehose jeans with cargo pockets and I can fit my G34 in them!

I had a two pair of the firehose jeans that I bough a few years ago. They never fit because they were too small. Two years after I bought them I decided to buy new ones that would be the correct size. I told them I had the two pair that didn't fit. They told me to send them back and they would exchange them with a pair of the correct size! Two years after I had bought them! I had even spilled PVC glue on them!

I have been soooo happy with them that I bought all of my Christmas presents for others from them this year.

I would be very interested in how those belts work. I'm in the market for a good Gun Belt.
 
Here is a review on this belt from their site. I see it is a double layer of leather. I think I'll be getting one of these.

I haven't used the Dutluth belt, but I bought this Blade Tech belt 2 years ago and couldn't be happier with it. I've worn it pretty much every day for 2 years and it is still stiff. The buckle is held on by two heavy duty hex screws that you can undo and wear your own buckle, if that's your thing. This belt only cost a little more than a regular leather belt and has lasted far longer.

I would highly recommend the Blade Tech (it's $10 cheaper), But Dutluth has a great reputation and you probably wouldn't be displeased with their belt either. Whichever you choose, after wearing a proper gunbelt, I am never buying a regular belt again.
 
Belt? No, my belts come from BeltMan

I do have pants (HUGE pockets) and shirts from DT, though ... good stuff.
I assume their belt is top-notch for a leather belt that isn't designed to be a gunbelt ... post up a review including what, exactly, you hang from it and how.
 
I normally carry a S&W j-frame in a High Noon Down Under IWB (not a big gun I know), or a 1911 in a Galco pancake. After two years of wear I can take the belt off, grab it in the middle between thumb and forefinger and try to curl the edges. I cannot even bend the width of the belt an 1/8" out of true, I have trouble bending it at all.

I am sure BeltMan makes quality belts, but for $70, I'll pass. I found my Bladetech on sale at a local gunstore for $37 and I have not had a complaint yet.

YMMV.
 
Their stuff is very good. My only objection is that 95% of it is imported.

I have two pairs of their Ballroom Jeans and I buy their Made in USA version. Yes, they cost more, but its worth it to me. These jeans are so comfortable and well made that I'm converting from the jeans that I've worn for the last 30 years as my last pairs of that brand wear out.

I also have their Firehose shorts with the crotch gusset for bike riding. Great, tough, comfortable shorts, although I don't believe they offer a Made in USA version.

Their stuff and customer service is top notch.
