I noticed an ad for these in American Rifleman. They are made in Israel and touted as having a really precise laser-welded seam.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I take it by the thundering silence no one has seen these. Neither have I except in the magazine.

E-lander is the Israeli source for mags for the IDF. They have recently introduced 6.8 and 6.5 mags, too.

For 99% of the AR15's, they fit. From that, you can keep researching - or try a few and tell us.

To put some perspective on them, they ain't Pro Mag, I don't believe you'd waste your money.

I have a couple for .223 in an AR and they work fine. Look like quality as well. I do not have any experience with their 1911 mags, where I like Check-Mate brand mags.

I like Checkmates too. And the E-lander AR mags have a good rep. Just looking for actual experience with the 1911 mags.
