I've got a call into Nosler but wondered if anyone had any experience with their E-Tip 150fr .308 bullets in a 308Win. I have some that I want to load and have either BLC(2) or Reloader-15 available but no load data that I can find.

Is it possible that I could use the same load data for Hornady GMX?

The Nosler site provides data for all their bullets but unfortunately they are not use the powders you have on hand right now.

Hornady #9 has data for their 150/155gr bullets and although they don't use BL-C(2) they do list loads using RL-15.
Their starting load is 38.3gr and their top load is 47.2gr RL-15.
38.3gr 2300 fps
40.1gr 2400 fps
41.9gr 2500 fps
43.6gr 2600 fps
45.4gr 2700 fps
47.2gr 2800 fps

Now I know this data is only valid with Hornady bullets but I'm guessing it will be a good starting place with that Nosler bullet you're using.

Hodgdon lists data for a 150gr Nosler BT bullet using BL-C(2). Again, not the exact bullet you're using but probably a good starting spot.

Alliant also has data but for a Speer 150gr bullet using RL-15.

Thanks for the info. These bullets are longer being all copper and Nosler did mention not going beyond midrange in loads. I assume this is because they have to be seated deeper.

You're right, they are different. That's why I kept saying the starting data will be helpful. The all Copper bullets do use data that's quite different than other bullets of the same weight.

Good luck with your call to Nosler. They are usually very helpful when data is needed for their bullets.

Just got a response from Nosler. Attached for anyone that might be interested in using these bullets.

WOW, that charge is a lot more extensive than what they put up online. That one is a keeper, thanks for posting it!

AND, it does include RL-15 which is what you were looking for...
(BTW, IMR4064 is my favorite powder for loading the 308 although I have not tried it with all Copper bullets yet)

My supplies are kind of strange since I had to buy what I could find being new to reloading. Managed to get blc(2), N133, Varget, H4198, RL15, Unique, 700x, autocomp, international, wst, and benchmark along with a couple of others I can't remember all in varying amounts. Guess that's probably good considering the craziness lately and the fact that I just started in mid February.

My interest in rl15 and blc(2) is that I have a good supply of them and am using the N133 in my 223.
